Mr. Benjamin de Leon Rivera has resigned his position as Coordinator of Religious Education at St. Michael the Archangel Parish effective immediately. An interim Coordinator will be appointed before the end of the week.

Catholic Charities of Washington DC is helping to solicit volunteers for the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) to provide services for newly arrived Afghan refugees.

Thank you to all who have donated towards the expense of our restored pews. In the month of September, the parish received $571 in pew restoration donations. As of September 30, we have raised $49,538 (39% of the $127,100 goal).

The Gabriel Project Cluster of Montgomery County serves mothers and their families in crisis pregnancies. With so many families depending on resources for support, we count on the generosity of our donors for their prayers and donations of material items, which sustain needy families throughout the year.

This weekend, November 6 and 7, after each Mass the missionary group from Bethlehem, the holy city of Christ's birth, will be selling hand carved religious articles made by Christian families from Bethlehem & Jerusalem.
